A newbie blogger begins...

So I've decided to jump into the world of blogging. There are a few blogs that I check out from time to time, but I hadn't really considered starting one of my own until recently. I had an opportunity to talk about some books that I love and give some suggestions for books to read to a friend from high school. I had a great time considering what to recommend to her and I decided I wanted more opportunities to share my thoughts and suggestions, but requests for book recommendations tend to be few and far between, so what could I do instead? I was checking out my cousin's blog (Homemade By Monica - a fun blog to follow btw) and decided that this might be a fun, easy way for me to talk about whatever I'm reading or some of my all time favorites. I probably won't limit myself to books though :) Movies I see, music I listen to, and restaurants I love will undoubtedly show up here too! Plus whatever else has caught my attention at the time I sit down to write. Will it be interesting?? I hope so, but who knows at this point! I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it though!
